The home has 4 bedrooms and 5 total beds; good for sleeping up to 9 guests.

Yes, the home includes high-speed internet access. Please note we are in a remote location, there can be times where the internet is slow.

Yes, Shipp’s Creek is a fully private home on a fenced-in, secluded wooded lot along the creek.
There are some folks who do live in the area full-time, so you will come across some friendly neighbors occasionally.

A hot tub will be installed and ready for guest use late in 2025.
Getting There & Parking

Shipp’s Creek is located on a remote gravel road, accessed by back roads. 4WD is highly recommended year-round, especially in wet or wintry weather.

We can accommodate up to 5 vehicles in the private driveway.
Fireplaces & Outdoor Amenities

There is one gas fireplace and one outdoor wood-burning fireplace.

A starter bundle is included. Additional wood can be brought or purchased locally.

Yes - a propane grill is available for guest use. Please do your best to clean it after use so the next guest can also enjoy.

Absolutely! Laurel Hill Creek runs along the back of the property and easily accessible.
It’s ideal for trout and fly-fishing. Please note you will need a PA Fishing License to fish this Creek.

No. Events, large gatherings, and parties are not permitted. We ask that you please be respectful of the space and property.

Smoking is not allowed inside the home. Responsible outdoor smoking may be permitted in designated areas.
House Rules
To ensure a peaceful and respectful experience for all guests, and to protect our home, we ask that you please follow these house rules:
Maximum occupancy: Sleeps 9
No parties or events
No pets
No smoking indoors
Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM (please be respectful of nature and nearby neighbors)
Fires: Only build fires in designated fire pit. Never leave them unattended.
Respect the land and wildlife — Pack out what you pack in.
Drive carefully on the gravel road in and out, especially in inclement weather
Check-out by 11:00 AM unless otherwise arranged
